On this Monday afternoon we began the class with Mental Math #3. Briefly after finishing that Mr. Maksymchuk explained our new way of recieving homework marks.
The way we will get full homework marks throughout this semester is completing all the notebook assignments and exercises from the textbook on or before the day of the test. I beleive this applies to any other assignments that come up and are assigned as homework.
The last thing we did before begining work for the day was a short lesson lasting about 7 or 8 minutes which has the recording attached to this post. The main thing we were supposed to get out of this lesson was that "it is possible to pay off your mortgage faster with different strategies". Some strategies would consist of investments, tax returns, and placing other sudden lump sums of money onto the principal of your mortgage quickly.
The two pages below are examples of questions for homework on exercise 2 from page 32 and 33. The two questions are number 2 and number 7.
